HOW TO KEEP YOUR ELECTRIC MOTORBIKE DURABLE
To keep your electric motorbike durable, focus on protecting the battery system and operating it correctly. My Anh invites you to review the following 4 principles:
1. Charge the battery correctly (the decisive factor)
– Don't let the battery drain completely: Charge when the battery level is around 30% to avoid a complete power loss.
– Avoid overcharging: Only charge up to 90% if you don't need to ride right away. Limit charging continuously overnight.
– Let the battery cool down: After riding, let the battery rest for 30 minutes to cool down before charging.
– Storage when not in use: If the motorbike will not be used for a long time (more than 1 week), it still needs to be charged once a week to prevent the battery from "dying" or swelling.
– Use the correct charger: Only use the original manufacturer's charger to ensure a stable current.
2. Riding habits
– Never overload: Follow the manufacturer's maximum load capacity to avoid placing stress on the motor and suspension system.
– Accelerate gradually: Avoid flooring the throttle when starting or climbing slopes. Sudden acceleration consumes a large amount of power and reduces motor lifespan.
– Check the tire pressure: Regularly check tires and inflate them to the correct pressure to reduce friction, helping the motorbike travel farther and save power.
3. Protect the motor and prevent water damage
– Parking: Avoid parking directly under harsh sunlight or in damp, rain-exposed areas. Excessive heat causes the battery to degrade faster.
– Avoid flooding: The motor and battery are highly sensitive to water. Limit riding through deeply flooded roads. If it is unavoidable, walk the motorbike through or turn off the engine.
4. Regular maintenance
